Job Description
Talkiatry is actively recruiting licensed Psychotherapists (LCSW, LMHC) to join our New York team to work in remote teletherapy roles. The practice is not providing clinical supervision for the purpose of qualifying for an LCSW or LMHC.
Founded in April 2020, Talkiatry has been built from the ground up by psychiatrists. We have rapidly grown to a team of over 50 providers comprised of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs and Psychotherapists, hailing from the top training programs across the region. We provide in-network, outpatient treatment for children and adults with depressive, anxiety, attention and other disorders. Talkiatry aims to bridge the current gap in outpatient psychiatry by providing high quality, respected medical care in a modern setting with modern tools.
In this role, you will collaborate with our dynamic team of Psychiatrists in an effort to diagnose, manage and treat our patients, employing a wide variety of interventions and modalities including CBT, MET, and psychodynamic therapy. There are opportunities to expand into couples, group, and family therapy as well. You must also demonstrate the ability to develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans, informed by objective data. A successful candidate will be an organized self-starter who can work independently, but also enjoys working alongside a team of clinicians and support staff, to develop and navigate patient care plans. Our custom technology driven solutions for psychiatry, including an integrated EMR, support provider to patient messaging, telemedicine, in addition to proprietary tools which will allow you to track and gain insight into your patients’ outcomes.
