• You’re meeting employees in all of our offices as you coordinate with writers and SMEs to get proposals out the door.
• You’re creating compliance matrixes and proposal management plans for proposals you’re assigned to. You’re ensuring our work is responsive, with strong discriminators and proof points.
• You’ve settled into a routine with the Proposal Team as you learn about internal systems, the typical proposal workload, and current processes. Along the way you’re making notes about areas for improvement.
• You’re coming up to speed on brand-new industries and you’re excited to learn more.

Fast-forward to one year with Resource Data:

• You have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Resource Data’s capabilities. It is hard to believe that just a year ago you hadn’t heard of a database schema or an ETL process. You’re now confident working with SMEs to produce technical material for Resource Data proposals.
• You’ve gained the trust and respect of the branch managers with your strong organizational skills and ability to deliver.
• You are taking the lead on some of the more critical proposal efforts for the company.
• You’ve introduced several best practices to the proposal team, helping improve the quality of the discriminators and proof points in all proposals.
• You’re an integral part of the proposal team. You’ve developed effective and rewarding relationships with many of your coworkers.

You may wonder: Am I qualified? What if I don’t know anything about software development or GIS? At Resource Data, we’re more interested in what you’ve done than what skills you have. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is some demonstrated experience following industry-standard best practices in proposal management. But professional certifications and familiarity with IT or GIS projects are not necessary. As a top performer, you can learn the technical aspects you need on the job.
