Join our Global Sales Operations team in the key role of Proposal Manager, Sales Ops Team! The ideal candidate will be located in the EU, the UK, or on the West Coast of the United States.


In the highly diverse and fast paced role of Proposal Manager, you will be a key member of the sales operations team working with our external sales teams and global strategic clients.

The Proposal Manager role will involve the following:

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring a Project Requirements document is completed for each opportunity.
  • Interacting with Business Development to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed in ERT Proposals.
  • Creating Proposal Document using proposal templates/tools and pre-approved proposal content.
  • Managing involvement of the Solutions Team for protocol review, solution discussion and selection.
  • Leading strategy calls for each assigned opportunity.
  • Scheduling meetings with the Solutions Team to ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.
  • Escalating to EMT when input is required to finalize a solution strategy.
  • Partnering with the sales team to complete preliminary pricing estimates.
  • Coordinating activities of various cross functional groups, including the Solution Team, Pricing Specialists, Sales Support Associates, and Contracts to move opportunities from Inquiry to Order in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Managing hand-offs between Opportunity Life Cycle process steps
  • Tracking various metrics related to submitted proposals to support management reporting needs
  • Acting as point-of-contact for re-bid requests, and directing such requests to the appropriate OLC step to ensure timely delivery of rebid.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supporting sales account teams in business efforts, as needed.
  • Attending client meetings and participating on client calls individually and/or with Business Development as needed
  • Participating in Sales Operations team meetings, Sales to Service meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, English, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.

Experience
:

  • 2-4 years experience in sales, technical writing, proposals, or budget development
  • Experience in a fast paced, multi take environment; ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Exceptional computer skill (MS office suite minimum).
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and customer skill plus the ability to work as a part of a team as well as individual contributor.
