ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

Multi State Apartment Management Company with great benefit package is seeking a qualified experienced and driven person to manage a beautiful apartment community along with senior management in the Ann Arbor Michigan area. We are looking for a strong candidate with a “can do” attitude as well as someone that inspires that same attitude in their Prospective Resident, Residents and Co Workers on a daily and continual basis.

Applying candidates will hopefully have 3-5 years of on-site property management experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, flexibility, a successful record of achievements in the property management industry and a strong desire to work hard and exceed expectations.

Here are some of the required skills and qualifications for applying applicants:

  • Requires extensive mobility within the property, such as frequent inspections, resident leasing activities etc.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of property management software a plus such as Yardi, etc.
  • Strong successful people management and communication skills.
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong ability to organize and multi-task
  • Ability to always maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors and employees at all times
  • Ability to Ensure compliance of all work- related activities in a fair, ethical and consistent manner
  • Ability to follow company policy’s and proper chain of command at all times
  • As a Assistant along with the Manager you are responsible for generating revenue at the property, supervising all contractors & , developing and implementing marketing plans, handling resident relations as needed, ensuring the property is operating at fullest capacity, maximizing income, maintaining property appearances, managing the maintenance teams to insure the best possible service for the residents and properties. Preparing and adhering to budgets and reports as well as maintaining accurate records.

Must have:

Clean criminal record and be willing to submit to a background check & drug test

High School Diploma required, College Degree and / or CAM is a plus but not required.

Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license

  • Salary is negotiable and commensurate with past experiences and references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
