Propane Service Technician

Position Summary:

Quality Oil Company, LLC is in search of a qualified, Propane Technician. This team member will be responsible for the installation and repair of propane and natural gas equipment and appliances. These will include gas logs, hot water heaters, wall heaters, commercial blowers, and installation of propane tanks, and installation of gas lines, including trenching. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, along with an excellent customer service oriented attitude.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
• Technical knowledge of propane tank installation and repair
• CDL Hazmat Endorsement
• Ability to work in small spaces such as basements and crawl spaces
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with various equipment
• Must be able to stoop, squat, bend, crawl, twist, climb, and use range of mobility frequently
• Previous LP Experience preferred
• Must be able to lift or slide (with assistance) 400+ pounds into and out of dwellings
• Must have a clean driving record and valid NC driver’s license
• Professional appearance required
• Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company policy
• Maintain accurate time records and sent to payroll when required
• Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
• Ability to use a tablet, surface pro, or company issued software to document work orders, etc.
• Generate customer invoices on job sites, accept credit card payments as necessary
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
• Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional improvements (newer system, additional units, and additional services.)
• Ability to work as a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
