About the Job

This position is crucial during our migration from one vendor solution to another. This role will support the migration and facilitate the project completion.

Responsibilities

This role reports to a Product Owner, and assist with these tasks:

  • Manage the migration schedule tracking migration tasks

  • Facilitate communication between internal and external teams

  • Facilitate the resolution of issues

  • Communicate project milestones via email and presentation

  • Coordinate requirements gathering

  • Coordinate End-User testing

  • Coordinate troubleshooting end-user issues and follow up until completion

  • Participate in regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of application or infrastructure components

  • Design and implement processes, or process improvements, to aid in migration timeline tracking.

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent work experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years project management or technology delivery management experience

  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in relation to project management; confidence and interpersonal skills needed to conduct effective executive presentations

  • Technical, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to analyze and synthesize data, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable working with senior-level stakeholders on mission-critical project

  • Experience working with technical teams in an agile environment

  • 3+ years hands-on project management experience

  • Meets deadlines consistently across multiple initiatives

Desired Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps

  • PMP certification

  • Agile/Scrum certification

  • Previous Caterpillar systems and processes experience a plus

  • Working knowledge of SaaS, SDLC, ETL, cloud or related technologies with the aptitude and the drive to learn new technologies

Required Soft Skills:

  • Acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills
