What you will do for Russelectric:

As a Project Specialist with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction from order acceptance through receipt of payment. You will work to ensure that projects and orders are executed with excellence and that customer experience is nothing short of stellar.

Responsibilities

  • Performs project management for assigned customers, overseeing all aspects of the projects from order acceptance to invoice.
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Supports customers remotely and/or onsite, providing first-level user support in case of arising issues.
  • Maintains the relationship with clients and sales representatives to clarify orders and issues.
  • Tracks project milestones and deliverables to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects based on agreed upon contract terms.
  • Coordinates the resolution of complex issues and questions with respectively qualified Field Service Engineers or Project Engineers.
  • Manages and files clients' information in SAP and other information systems.
  • Participates in investigating and resolving commercial and/or technical problems.
  • Assists with coordination of materials procurement; Engineering and Field Service resources for projects; and coordination of deliveries to customer sites and startup with Field Service team
  • Assists with project cost reporting and prevention of non-conformance costs, when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing project management or order management with customer-relationship responsibilities
  • Ability to work during Eastern Time business hours when required
  • Expertise in the energy/critical power industry is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English required
  • Good interpersonal skills and influencing people are important requirements in the job
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience in applying methods or procedures which generally are well defined and straightforward, but with occasional deviations
