Join our Staples Vendor Media Team and execute digital marketing campaigns for vendor partners.

This role will be responsible for managing media programs on behalf of Staples & Staples vendors. The Project Manager, Marketing role will join our Staples Vendor Media Team, responsible for execution of digital marketing campaigns for vendor partners. The Vendor Media Team is a highly visible team with aggressive growth goals over the next year. We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our growing business. The Project Manager, Marketing will work alongside the Program Managers, acting as a liaison between the Staples vendors and agency teams to activate media programs. This role will be responsible for supporting external agencies in the development of media strategy, planning, buying and execution of the campaign, but not in platform/hands on keyboard. A key component to the success of this role will be to foster the collaboration between internal and external teams, driving success for both our vendors and the larger Staples business. The Project Manager, Marketing will be tasked with delivering/presenting success metrics to vendor partners as well as to internal Staples stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage key team documents that facilitate team organization ie. media program budget trackers, flowcharts, creative specs, reporting calendar, spend/revenue tracker, promotional calendar, etc.
  • Activate media across multiple channels including paid search, display, email & onsite (staples.com) media.
  • Opportunity to participate in ‘new business’ pitches to expand vendors (‘clients’) for the vendor media program; lead scoping opportunity with agency partners, participate in pitch/education of media opportunities available to vendors and execution of new programs.
  • Collaborate on the day-to-day management of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Guide & support development of media campaigns (briefs, strategy development, vendor selection, budget management, etc.) to incorporate direction from all key stakeholders & deliver success on campaign KPIs.
  • Contribute and support agency partners to develop campaign reports/findings; ability to interpret and analyze data to optimize campaigns and develop an understanding of what the data means for the Staples business/vendor.
  • Promote & manage the cross functional collaboration within Staples internal teams i.e., merchandising, marketing, media, inventory, promotional, etc.
  • Day-to-day contact for external facing teams i.e., Staples vendor partners and multiple media agencies.
  • Foster holistic media plans & reporting between agencies.
  • Manage priorities/direction from key external and internal stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

  • Help drive vendor investments in paid marketing programs which will contribute to the team's monthly EBITDA targets.
  • Assist the merchants and agency partners with creating and selling media plans to vendors and managing all campaign operations.

Qualifications :

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting digital media strategies including the planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong process and organizational skills, work well in a face-paced team setting, and familiar with multiple digital media channels.
  • Ability to build credible and trusting relationships in a dynamic environment with a broad range of colleagues, executive stakeholders & business partners (internal + external).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with unique deliverables and timelines.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of advertising/media or account management experience serving clients, agency experience preferred.
  • E-retail, e-commerce, experience in a retail media network or with retail brands is a plus.
