Job Description: Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Information Technology Group in our Fairfax, VA office. This individual should be enthusiastic and able to adapt to new challenges and project directions with a high level of comfort.   • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans for large-scale, complex projects that may involve multiple resource teams
  • Facilitates all checkpoint control gates through the lifecycle of the project
  • Prepare and present progress reports for project stakeholders
  • Creates risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks as they are encountered
  • Able to manage multiple projects that may vary in scope simultaneously
  • Schedule cross-functional meetings to facilitate collaboration and resource availability
  • Maintain project-related documentation which may include contracts, invoices, or payment records
Required Skills & Required Experience:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, research, and organizational skills
  • 5 or more years’ experience
