Position Description: As a Project Manager II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:- Manage technical projects of medium to large scale, including software applications, systems, platforms, services, technologies, and infrastructure throughout the project life cycle from initialization to deployment
- Define project scope, coordinate deliverable schedules with cross-functional teams, and define risk mitigation strategies, while facilitating appropriate technical solutions
- Manage and assist in projects involving various areas on Information Technology and/or Infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members while working on Applications and/or Infrastructure
- Manage all stages of the project life cycle, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and budget using established methodologies
- Prepare comprehensive project plans for all phases of the project life cycle and balance the allocation of resources to ensure time-lines are met
- Pro-actively manage changes in project scope, issues and risks, and prepare contingency plans
- Develop and prioritize project deliverables and artifacts
- Create and maintain project meeting minutes to document key decisions and action items
- Exercise sounds judgment in planning, organizing, and managing projects
- Facilitate project communications and change management
- Collaborate with business analysts and internal customers to gather required project
- Track and report project progress to all stakeholders
- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports
- Manage vendor relationships and facilitate vendor evaluations
- Facilitate project closure activities
- Facilitate vendor management activities including invoice payments
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall project management discipline
- Perform various project administration activities
- Assist the Project Management Team with training and development of new process improvements and advancements in project management training programs
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects and prioritize workloads while working interdependently within a cross-functional team
- Ability to extract data from multiple sources and prepare various reports
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work well in a fast paced and quick changing environment
- Knowledge of a variety of technical platforms and methodologies
- Proficient with MS Teams, MS Excel, MS Project, and Agile
