Job Description
Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Projects, this position ensures the timely and accurate issuing of customer project proposals, management of lighting system projects from receipt of purchase order through completion of engineering checkout, design and drafting of Occupancy Sensor Layouts, and assisting Applications designers.Responsibilities:

- Assist customers (i.e., representatives and specifiers) with product application issues through email and/or telephone communications.
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, bills of materials, and other applicable contract documents for preparing a quotation for a project sale or occupancy sensor layout design.
- Formulate a quotation or sensor layout based on the review and analysis process.
- Issue revised quotations or layouts as needed (i.e., changes in design, customer requirements, etc).
- Receive and process project purchase orders, project approvals and releases.
- Maintain project database, project directories and Manage project through multiple Leviton Departments.
- Handle all questions and act as project liaison with Sales, or National Account Distributor.
- Ensure ongoing communication between all parties, with regard to project opportunities.
- Assist application engineers to accomplish tasks when required.
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Quotations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Five years experience and/or training in lighting controls preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with all departments and all levels of management.
- Workable knowledge of mathematics.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and AutoCAD preferred.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and specifications.
- Highly organized, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to operate in a deadline-oriented environment with frequent change of priorities with out difficulty.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, listen, talk and use hand/finger motions to handle office equipment.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
