This position will serve as project leader for repair process optimization. Manage and support technical and non-technical standardization initiatives of OCA repair centres, service providers and distributors for improvements in overall operational and technical performance. Track, communicate, coordinate, train, implement and maintain repair product and system introductions as required to all affected business units and end-users. Apply both technology and business knowledge to meet project goals and objectives. In addition, to assure the highest quality of customer service, this position will provide consultative services and technical assistance associated with delivering service and repair activities in a manner that exceeds customer expectations. The individual in this role will act as a liaison between the production operations and related groups such as Market Quality, Quality, IT, or warehousing and be responsible for building effective relationships through cohesive Repair system and process interactions.
Job Duties- Serve as project lead to a team of stakeholders to evaluate operational and technical repair and service performance of OCA service centers to ensure compliance with established Olympus standards, processes, and policies. Interpret, implement and audit to ensure compliance with Technical Service Global Guidelines during OMSC Quality Review.
Execute action plan in conjunction with the management of each facility and supporting departments to address variances by utilizing PDCA methodology.
Support multiple projects involving the design, development, and implementation of complex new and existing technical as well as non-technical processes.
Confer with cross functional departments to discuss and define business needs and potential solutions based on information technology and/or repair and service solutions
Lead or assist with development of project plan and budget to include estimated project milestones and time allotments. Estimate and allocate project resources, as necessary. Assign work appropriately to more junior level staff members. Review and evaluate completed work.
Collaborate in the development of a clear set of program or process performance specifications to meet project objectives and targets.
Lead, participate, monitor and improve the implementation process for serviceability of new products and repairs. Measure, analyse, and implement repair flows and repair processes to maximize utilization of resources and optimise turnaround time.
Ensure implemented processes and/or solutions are well documented via appropriate SOP/WI.
Maintain close involvement with repair operations by reviewing transaction records to properly address and advise business on customer complaints and recommend process improvements to engineering and repair production management.
Listen to and analyse customer issues, investigating the problems and providing strategic solutions to assure the highest value and ROI to business.
Participate, organize, or lead meetings as required (to include cross functional team meetings) to communicate repair escalations and mitigation.
Make appropriate judgement decisions regarding price adjustments, repair, and factory warranties.
Perform other essential duties as assigned, including special projects as directed by manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or equivalent experience required. Preferred areas of concentration include, business management, data analysis, and accounting and/or information systems or computer science.
Working knowledge of Data Sweep, SAP and Agile, Oracle.
Working knowledge of technical & non-technical repair and service processes and systems.
Working knowledge of software, equipment & repair validation, and verification.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Minimum 3 years applications and systems development and implementation experience
Minimum 3-year data modeling/ data analysis experience.
Minimum 5 years experience of professional and technical knowledge in the medical device industry.

Strong statistical, analytical and decision-making skills.
Experience in coordinating activities among departments or groups and presentation skills to permit communication to large groups as appropriate.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision to objective results-oriented agendas.
Strong knowledge of development methodologies with problem solving skills.
Must possess a high degree of personal organization and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
