We are seeking an Industrial Project Manager for our Denver, CO:

Summary
- Leads the area project house team members, making assignments as needed and coordinating efficiencies among the team.
- Process, manage and schedule orders for the projects department.
- Quote customers any changes to original bill of material.
- Assist in customer claim resolution.
- Works with customer and vendor to meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to prepare professional written documentation to customers.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to consider all aspects of selling including: vendor relationships, profit and loss concepts and long and short terms goals of the company.
- Will be required to visit customers with outside sales staff or independently.
- Manage projects within time and budget.
- Manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery and compliance with job specifications.
- Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs.
- Other Administrative duties as needed for position.
Essential Responsibilities
- Utilizes a disciplined approach to identify Key Objectives, Deliverables, Milestones, and Tasks that are needed to successfully complete the project.
- Manages scope, schedule and cost within plan utilizing appropriate project management tools and methodology.
- Facilitates the definition of project metrics for tracking progress and successful completion.
- Leads the development of the project communication plan.
- Effectively manages communications, expectations, and interactions associated with cross-functional teams.
- Delivers informative, well-organized presentations and regular updates on project status and selected project topics.
- Manages and leads multiple projects simultaneously while providing coaching and mentoring to less experienced project managers in the organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to make an accurate assessment of customer project needs.
- Knowledge of lighting, switchgear and Rockwell Automation products, including Motor Control Centers (MCCs).
- Background in project management, with PMP certification a significant plus.
- Must have excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
- Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills are required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education
BS/BA/BBA degree preferred but not required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
At least 10 years’ experience in Industrial Automation Applications.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs. Ability to create and make presentations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to verify and calculate figures such as commissions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

- This position will requires approximately 90% domestic travel and ability to travel by air transportation and operate a motor vehicle.
