Project Cost Accountant

Findorff has an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join our Madison team. As a Project Cost Accountant you are responsible for verifying accuracy of job cost detail for assigned projects, cost reporting, billing, preparing job audits and year end audits and general administration. Specific job duties can vary depending on the project(s) assigned.

Qualified candidates will have strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, be well versed in MS Office, an aptitude for learning new software, strong math skills, great organizational skills and ability to work independently and problem solve.

Position requires: *

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2-4 years of cost accounting and audit experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Experience using CMiC accounting software is a plus
