Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join our team. This employee will work from home but the position will be tied to one of our AECOM South Carolina offices.

Responsibilities:
+ Successful applicant will provide project control and project manager assistance for the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and closeout of projects, scheduling of resources, subconsultant procurement assistance, invoice preparation and follow-up
+ Project support activities may include but are not limited to the following:
+ Create and submit requests for client set up
+ Development of cash flow estimates based on scheduling, pricing, contract and subcontract terms
+ Prepare and initiate project set-up into APIC
+ Set-up selected standard invoice template and invoice requirements
+ Support pricing and review scope/ WBS alignment
+ Support Healthy Start/Re-Start process with focus on project status (budget, progress, change management)
+ Assist with development of Resource Plan
+ Define Earned Value approach
+ Support change management process and forms in alignment with company and contract requirements
+ Assist Project Manager with Procurement to establish PO’s
+ Monitor and initiate request for contingency changes to PA
+ Primary reviewer for project data quality such as negative ETCs / PPRs
+ Primary reviewer for Subcontractor commitments and purchase orders
+ Support in preparing and initiating EAC estimates, change orders, and project / task attribute changes into APIC
+ Update budgets to approved as-sold contract margin plus client approved changes
+ Review incurred costs in a timely manner, escalate to PM for any accuracy issues
+ Confirm staff is billed properly including annual increase, provide analysis as necessary
+ Provide periodic review of project risk profile and confirm or correct risk level as needed.
+ Create RAR/WAR Narratives and justification
+ Prepare analysis of Lost Margin/Margin Erosion and support MEF(Margin Erosion Form) process
+ Prepare cost transfer requests
+ Monitor Unbilled WIP and track AR and cash collections
+ Perform project financial tracking such as compliance reporting, reporting on financial issues on projects to Business Lines
+ Primary support for Project Teams in APIC, ABC and ePM
+ Create project status reports and adhoc client level reports at external client request
+ Support PM with WAR (Work at Risk) authorization request as necessary for project setup
+ Develop and update project/task forecasts/EACS and process
+ Support PM and participate in project review meetings. Provide necessary analysis and support resolution of issues as appropriate
+ Support tracking of AR and AP and escalate as necessary
+ Monitor Subcontract progress, commitments, PO balances
+ May participate in Project Review meetings or other meetings as assigned
+ Assist by being a member on the Project Manager Certification Board as required
Minimum Requirements
+ BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Cost control processes and tools (i.e APIC, ABC, AGIS, Subport), accounting rules and requirements, and general planning and A/E project implementation steps is a plus.
+ Strong organization, time management and detail-orientation skill
+ Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office : Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Able to liaison with Client and Project team
+ Great communication skills - written or verbal
