ABOUT US
Mide is a research and development company focused on sensors and smart materials. We were recently acquired by Hutchinson to help drive innovations into their organization. Hutchinson is a global supplier to the automotive, aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Mide's R&D will help Hutchinson work toward vehicle electrification and distributed industrial sensing, especially industrial internet of things (IIoT) solutions.

Midé is seeking a motivated self-starter for a Project Administrator position. The Project Administrator will be responsible for helping with many duties surrounding project management. They will work with the technical project leads and engineering department heads on all phases of a project to ensure the success of our R&D projects by being on time, on spec, and on budget. The Project Administrator will report to the VP of engineering. Partial work from home possible.

Duties May Include
  • Tracking of schedules, deliverables, and deadlines for R&D projects
  • Tracking of project milestone status and expectations
  • Proofreading technical reports and presentations and ensuring proper document format
  • Maintaining project requirements document
  • Document, distribute, and follow up on meeting action items
  • Part ordering and purchase orders
  • Preparing subcontractor agreements
  • Ensuring proper distribution markings of documents and NDAs are in place
  • Ensuring compliance with government contract requirements
  • Adjusting personnel assignments to balance workload based on project needs and engineering resources available
  • Facilitate monthly internal reporting of project status including budget, schedule, and technical status
  • Recording minutes for meetings, particularly agendas, major decisions, and action items
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals and calendars
  • Assist in project planning and risks from start to finish
  • Government property tracking
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a US person (citizen or permanent resident)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Organized with great time management
  • Deadline driven
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with technical concepts (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software, etc), degree not required
  • Strong understanding of the basics of project management including planning, time management, and task management.
  • Knowledge of project management, flowcharts, and technical documentation
PREFFERED
  • Experience with government contracts
