Program Manager

Founded by artists in 1981, CCMoA is the home of Cape Cod Art.

The Museum preserves the work of the Cape’s finest artists and celebrates the distinctive artistic identity of the Cape, the Islands and the region. It is a major hub of the cultural life of the region. The Museum is situated in a beautiful setting surrounded by a Sculpture Garden in Dennis, Massachusetts. CCMoA has seven galleries, an education center, pottery studio, museum shop and a film screening room.

PROGRAM MANAGER

CAPE COD MUSEUM OF ART is seeking an experienced Program/Education Manager with strong organizational skills, business acumen that has an appreciation for art, to join our team.

This is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Art.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Excellent computer skills necessary, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Management Experience - ability to manage part-time staff and Volunteers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, must be able to multitask
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Project Management Skills
  • Website (WIX) experience beneficial
  • Non-Profit 501(c) 3 experience beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Planning in partnership with Director and Committees
  • Schedule Programming and Education classes/ Instructors
  • Create Contracts and Payment requests
  • Manage supplies for Education Classes
  • Manage Program Calendar
  • Partner with Marketing Manager for marketing programs and classes
  • Schedule Coordinate and train Volunteers
  • Manage Part-Time Staff (1 direct report)
  • Prepare and plan set up for all programs – ensure coverage for all programs
  • Key holder – open & close museum as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three to Five years’ experience in related field
  • Must be a team player, with a flexible schedule to support CCMoA Mission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
