The HR Technology Team helps to deliver and facilitate strategic technology projects within the People Team to help DoorDash make the most of their people. We’re building our technology in and around Workday, and are looking to build the team to support and enable continued growth. DoorDash HR is looking for an HR Technology Program Manager to implement business processes and strategic initiatives across the People organization. You will work cross-functionally to achieve business goals in supporting, configuring, and enabling effective HR Technology solutions built around Workday.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and will report to the Senior Manager of HR Technology. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Own leading projects to support, build, and grow the HR Technology function Work closely with cross-functional teams to ascertain the right technology solutions to support and grow our businesses Work fearlessly in uncovering underlying issues or business problems and turn those issues into solutions within Workday Oversee all incoming requests, creating and maintaining our roadmap, building technology sprints, and holding team members accountable for results Rigorously document system requirements and configuration to build operational excellence Create, maintain, and execute testing plans and rollout strategies Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality as needed Provide production support to ensure superior operational response Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams We’re excited about you because… You are an expert in project management with 4+ years of experience You’ve led multiple complex and ambiguous projects successfully and simultaneously You’re had experienced in HR teams, and specifically with Workday HCM You’re incredibly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously You build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders You see around corners and know how to avoid risk and missteps You know how to optimize and improve processes while designing for scale You are a self-motivated, rapid learner, excited about developing your analytical and problem-solving skills You are results-oriented, always evaluating whether our team's activities are achieving the desired, measurable impact You are an owner, always looking for opportunities to learn and better your work product You are comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, continually changing team-oriented environment, and able to manage multiple deadlines concurrently You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience You have strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills Why You’ll Love Working at DoorDash We are a technologically and data-driven business We are committed to our clients and connected through our vision of “Delivering Good” We love solving problems, thinking creatively and trying new things We believe in autonomy & taking initiative We are challenged, developed and have meaningful impact We take what we do seriously.
