Position summary*This position is remote and after the pandemic, may continue to be remote or office-based in either of our offices in Fairfield, CT or Warren, NJ.* As a Program Coordinator within our Program Support function, you will be an integral member in one of our key account teams, engaging with colleagues across the business to support the development and implementation of publication and medical communication plans. Our Program Support specialists are at the heart of their teams and are essential to the smooth and successful running of our accounts. To succeed in this busy and varied role, you will be organized, proactive, and have the confidence to hit the ground running, making a real impact from day one. Not afraid to ask questions and put forward ideas, you will utilize your interpersonal skills as a key point of contact internally with team members and externally with our clients to help overcome project challenges as they arise. We are interested in hearing from candidates with prior experience in a scientific communications agency, or someone with exceptional project management skills with the ambition to work in the industry for the first time.
Key responsibilities- Work with colleagues across the business, both within and outside the account team, to manage and deliver projects successfully
- Develop and apply a thorough understanding of how process compliance is fundamental to our business
- Utilize Datavision (our proprietary software tool which has become the industry standard) to maintain publication plan records and ensure that clients’ working practices are followed rigorously
- Submit projects we develop through client’s internal routing process for approval
- Liaise directly with clients, external physician experts, and suppliers
- Coordinate people, tasks, and projects to ensure successful delivery of publication plans and other activities
- Relevant experience gained in a scientific communications or related environment
- Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Office, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Good working knowledge of Datavision or similar database entry/management is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, and comfortable interacting in a client-facing role
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage projects and timelines effectively
