Job Description
Midlands Center is a residential facility of the SC Department ofDisabilities and Special Needs.
Midlands Center serves residents of all ages with developmental disabilities.
Under limited supervision of the Facility Administrator, the position serves as Quality Assurance (QA) to include providing training to the Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (on-going and newly assigned employee) for the facility along with the Residential Director.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Departmental, State and Federal Laws and Regulations pertaining to the operation of ICF/ID facility through staffing and on going monitoring related to QA and QIDP's. Operates with independence and discretion.

Coordinates and monitors Center's services (medical, residential, day supports, psychology etc.) to ensure compliance with all required Departmental, State and Federal Regulations. Responsible for all DHEC Plan of Corrections and manages the Center's Quality Assurance Team. On-going monitoring and follow up is expected.

Participates in appropriate committee functions, particularly those related to Quality Assurance and training for Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP).

Complete other duties as assigned
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Bachelor's Degree with (5) years professional experience with Intellectual Disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility. (ICF)
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher
Education Accreditation.

State Disaster Plan: In accordance with the State's Disaster Plan, which includes hazardous weather, DDSN employees may be required to work in times of an emergency or disaster.

College Transcripts: Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application are required to provide an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within a specific time frame required by that area, after hiring.

Driving Record: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
