Posting Summary

Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) offers the following 100% fully online degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Online BBA), a Master in Business Administration (Online MBA), and a Master of Science in Business Analytics (Online MSBA) program, among others under development. The position provides critical support to the academic functions for all Online programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition to providing general support for the Programs, the Program Coordinator II assists in providing direct administrative support to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Associate Dean for Graduate Programs.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Dean III for Online programs, this position supports students throughout the academic journey within the RSBC, and plays a key role in communicating, documenting, supporting, and assisting with the execution of all the student’s academic milestones. Specifically, this position assists with onboarding and retention processes for online students, particularly non-academic and general questions; communicates with students who might be in need of assistance (non-academic); promotes collaborations between departments and the school to expedite student issues; and tracks the progress of students. This position is also responsible for assisting students by referring them to tutoring services, disabilities services, advisors and/or other student centric services.

The position will also provide support for the coordination and arrangement of school-wide events (Honors Ceremony, Commencement, etc.), assist with the analysis of various administrative documents and program data, create routine information materials, and provide other administrative support, as deemed appropriate.

Work is performed under direct supervision with specific instructions on routine or semi-routine work. The individual will perform professional work that requires knowledge of the various program details as well as basic application of the RSBC’s mission, vision, and values. The individual in this position is required to regularly communicate to their direct supervisor and coordinate with other members of the RSBC staff as well as Rutgers–Camden campus staff.

Preferred Qualifications

Two to three years of experience is preferred; experience in a higher education environment is preferred. Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, facilitation, and training skills are a plus.



Equipment Utilized

This candidate uses Microsoft Access databases on a daily basis, as well as Excel and Word. The candidate also regularly uses Rutgers University’s programs, including the Graduation Portal.



Physical Demands and Work Environment

Availability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
