The program coordinator will support activities related to business health and operations at our community-based practices.
The PPOC Program Coordinator II will be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities and daily operations of the Practice Management and Contract Services programs.
- Working closely with program management, payer relations, credentialing staff and others.
- Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives.
- Working independently and within the team.
- Conferring with and advising staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; referring to appropriate department person when unable to respond.
- Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- May evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods.
- May review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
- Assisting with written communication and promotional literature.
- May plan workshops, meetings or conferences, coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
To qualify, you must have:
- An Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
