ResponsibilitiesThe Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a residency training program accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and/or other accrediting bodies to include American Society of Health-System Pharmacists ASHP, Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), The Fellowship Council and/or Non-Accrediting programs. The PC assists the Program Director (PD) and/or the Graduate Medical Education office in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program and ensuring compliance with ACGME/Non-ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements. This role functions as a liaison between the PD, residents, fellows, the GME Office, participating sites, and other departments within the health system. Provides administrative support for department leadership, calendar management, preparing reports, handling correspondences, reception and answering telephone calls. Additionally, this person must be knowledgeable about patient care/operational activities at the various training sites in which their residents/fellows rotate. The PC may be required to assist in the start of new GME programs or other GME programs if needed. QualificationsEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
