Program & Analytics Reporting Analyst
Job Responsibilities:

  • WRITES, DEPLOYS and MAINTAINS queries and stored procedures with high level SQL experience to support both internal and client delivery of reporting as well as analytical support and data requests.
  • CREATES / UPDATES programming reporting data to a final delivery form through use of Excel, Access, or other acceptable form to create custom client reporting.
  • WRITE batch files or VBS scripts in support of reporting automation.
  • COORDINATES the gathering of client data from functional areas for REVIEW and INPUT into client reports as assigned.
  • MAINTAIN all logic and accuracy for reporting tables provided by IT and provide IT requirements/direction when needed. Understanding the impacts and proactively alerting internal customers and clients regarding issues and delays is entailed as well. This position would oversee the automation of processes within the department as well.
  • WRITES or otherwise communicates (email, PowerPoint ) persuasively to client, and other company representatives to help explain analysis and /or program recommendations based on the data trends.
  • INITIATE analyses to determine the cause of claims experience and call trends that varies materially from the anticipated claims cost, sharing conclusions with interest parties as appropriate.
  • REVIEWS and ASSESSES data being reported, alerting team members of any issues or trends that should be acted upon.
  • DELIVERS custom reporting to clients on a timely basis through email, ftp sites, etc.
  • DOCUMENTS and MAINTAINS our records of report development work and communicates progress to AIM team members and clients.
  • PUBLISHES an inventory of reports and other contact points periodically.
  • MAINTAINS reference tables in support of accurate client reporting.
  • PLANS and prepares for new clients, new programs, and new reports occurring in the day-to-day process by working together with those providing data and developing the new reports and gaining a working knowledge of the new reports.
  • MAINTAINS a work structure and records to enable extensive multi-tasking while keeping track of deliverables owed and deadlines. Re-prioritizes tasks as required to accomplish each days’ work.
  • ATTENDS TO DETAILS with excellent written and verbal communication skills, extreme detail focus to avoid re-work and errors, and 100% follow-thru on outstanding items.
  • MANAGES completion of specific reporting requests/tactics as assigned by VP of Reporting & Analytics.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years Financial Analysis preferred
  • SQL experience is critical; 3-5 years of T-SQL experience. Candidates will be tested on site for SQL proficiency
  • Knowledge of Call Center fundamentals and reporting is required.
  • Previous experience with ACD reporting and administration and/or workforce management experience desired
  • MS Office suite: expert user in Excel, Access and PowerPoint are critical; candidates will be tested for proficiency
  • Must be able to present and communicate, both written and orally, to clients


Education:


  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
