Professional Dog Groomer

Paws and Bows Pet Grooming is looking for a Skilled and Experienced Dog Groomer.

True love for dogs, their safety and comfort is our top priority. We are a neighborhood pet grooming salon with lots of very well behaved doggies as recurrent customers.

50%-55% Commission pay is based on experience/high volume, plus of course good tips.

The ideal candidate Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of professional experience in a grooming salon as a dog groomer (stylist)
- Must own grooming equipment: Clippers, Blades and Shears.
- Must have a genuine care for pets and their well being.
- Must be able to provide current excellent professional references.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment
- Must have a great attitude, be punctual and reliable.
- Be able to lift, pull, restrain, or push 75lbs of weight.

Additional Job Information:

The dog groomer position does all tasks involving dog grooming from , bathing her/his own dogs (no bather provided), checking in and out customers and helping out with salon cleaning duties. We offer online booking only, therefore there is no answering phone calls.

W-2 type of employment, commission pay, percentage is based on experience. Please visit our website to see our pricing.

Full time or Part Time is optional for candidate but weekends are required.

Availability to handle, bathe and groom small and large dogs up to 75 pounds.

Equipment we have for our groomers:

-Electric tables,

-Groomer's Helper,

-Prima bathing system,

-Clipper-Vac.

-Walk-in Tub for Large Dog

-High velocity dryers and we finish pet mostly with Kennel dryers.

Best time for interviews: Tuesday-Friday around 6pm, Monday all day available.
