Production/Cleaning Technician

Our Franchise is seeking someone who is comfortable working hard in challenging situations, enjoys meeting new people, is detail-oriented, and is a serious multi-tasker. Training opportunities present the possibility of raises quickly. Overtime and referral compensation are also available.

Production and General Laborer Primary Responsibilities:

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Complete demolition daily, which may include removing cabinets, drywall, flooring, and other materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project. Use common sense when it comes to protecting work areas.
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance each day.
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® guidelines per daily work orders and Crew Chief instructions.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with Crew Chief and other Technicians, especially regarding customer needs and concerns.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave each job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Effective oral communication and basic math skills.

Production and General Laborer Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• General knowledge of construction/demolition practices
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/perform physical work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Must have a professional appearance and a great attitude
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Because we provide 24-hour emergency services, on-call rotation is required
