Production Worker - Filler Of Fire Extinguishers

Job Description Summary: Responsible for filling cylinders with agent, applying anti-corrosion coating, cleaning, checking for leaks and inspecting before stocking or pulling to meet orders. Oversees operation of the agent recovery area and equipment by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Calibrates and operates fill station and fills cylinders.*
• Conducts leak test, applies anti-corrosion coating and cleans and stocks filled cylinders.*
• Determines agent weight and pressure necessary for filling.*
• Determines correct agent used to fill cylinder.*
• Inspects cylinders per spec sheet.*
• Labels cylinders accordingly.*
• Completes all required logs and paperwork.*
• Cross train and be able to perform as many other production jobs as possible.*
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
