Production Superivsor Assistant - 3rd Shift

Summary/Purpose:The purpose of this position is to assist the Production Supervisor in training and directing the line leaders and production workers. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities:Ensuring all production lines are operating efficiently.Ensure all employees are trained and adhering to processing standards.Ensure all company procedures and policies are posted and enforced.Ensure all systems are in working order.Plan individual assignments based on production sequences and individual ability to meet production goals.Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with State and Federal law.Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and management concepts.Assist Supervisor in setting priority of incoming components.All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHigh school graduate or GED2 years of experience as a supervisorStrong leadership skillsCommunication and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Office skillsMust be attentive and dependable
