About The Role:

Objective: Utilize strategic planning to develop and maintain rolling 12-month production plans for highly complex supply chain products, taking into account the forecast, backlog, availability of material & capacity and management policies and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as the focal point in creating a production schedule for projects using the best combination of ERP and other tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the production process.
  • Coordinate with procurement, inventory/warehouse, manufacturing engineering to clear production constraints, mitigate supply gaps, and maintain target inventory levels.
  • Establish ship dates for all customer orders; domestic & international.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the development, prototype, production and fulfillment cycle in support of the Company’s shipping plan
  • Expedite orders as necessary.
  • Identify actual and potential delivery problems and take proactive steps to inform appropriate personnel.
  • Verify data accuracy in ERP systems and report problems to appropriate parties.
  • Understand and apply Supply Chain reports in planning material availability to ensure appropriate delivery dates to customers.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, BOM’s and drawings.
  • Manage and manipulate system data and parameters to ensure company stocking levels.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Industrial Engineering or related area
  • Significant understanding of BOM’s, routings, and manufacturing scheduling with work orders
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite is required
  • Proven ability with large quantities of data.
  • Proactive & collaborative attitude is required
  • Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams involving multiple competing tasks/goals is required

Pluses:

  • Experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Master Scheduling is required
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain metrics & processes is preferred
