Production Operator – Level 4

Our factory in Crete, NE is one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. as a mass producer of over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including brands like Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies® and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets® brands. The Level 4 Production Operators are a vital piece of the Processing, Ingredient Prep/Receiving, Packaging/Sanitation and Distribution Departments of the Nestle Purina Crete Factory. The Level 4 Production Operators will meet all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental requirements when performing job duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cover and backup operators in Processing, Ingredient Prep & Receiving and Packing departments.
• Operator a forklift loading and unloading trailers to the warehouse.
• Perform visual inspections of cans, monitor temperature of incoming and outgoing cans.
• Perform all Process, Ingredient Prep and Packaging Line Set Up.
• Record and keep records for good manufacturing practices.
• Comply with all Nestlé and plant-specific policies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Hourly pay starting at $22.67/hour.

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
• 1+ year experience driving a forklift and 1+ year experience working in a production capacity such as manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.
