Title: Product Manager
Reports To: Director of Production
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the DyeSublimation, Engraving, Embroidery, Vinyl, and/or Fulfillment Departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for preparing and consulting with senior management on a weekly basis on key production reports in the department.
- Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for operations.
- Prepares operational schedules and coordinates production activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Develops or revises standard operating procedures and working practices, and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Senior Management for action.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees in the Production Department as well as a dotted line to the management to any Assistant Production Managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in a team-based, manufacturing environment.
- College or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or the combination of high school diploma with several years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, not required.
