This is an active position, requiring the ability to repetitively lift cases of beverage products, kneel, bend, and reach above the shoulders and head, and move around to different locations within the assigned area, all while working safely, quickly, and accurately to meet customer expectations and company targets. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Production Machine Operators will safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties involved in the operation and monitoring of high speed beverage filling, labeling, and packaging machinery, complying with all production, quality, and safety standards. Production Machine operators are crucial to the business and support both internal and external customers and assist with meeting business goals and demands. Duties will include operating human-machine interface screens and functions, organizing and refilling supplies, monitoring quality, performing and accurately recording product and quality checks, and any other duties required to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production runs. JOB DUTIES: • Maintains clean work area and equipment. • Operates manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintains all product flow • Performs tests and verifications to ensure comprehensive product quality • Operates and monitors a single production line. • Removes or shifts materials and/or finished product from a single production line as necessary. • Completes all necessary line inspections. • Completes all necessary line reports. • Understands and follows PQI standards. • Supports OEE functions on line, interprets data and makes adjustments as needed • Assists with line changeovers. • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to successfully complete the forklift certification as applicable. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Constantly (67%-100%) required to sit/ and or stand. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to walk and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to speak and read English.
