Overview: Lifeway is hiring a Remote Graphic Designer to support Lifeway's Student Publishing Team. In this role, you'll create graphic designs and design themes for an exciting new curriculum line.
The Lifeway Students Publishing Team is focused on creating Christian resources for 7th-12th grade students.

- Create and develop graphic designs and art solutions, with an emphasis in page and book layout
- Direct and collaborate with other designers, illustrators and photographers throughout project life-cycles
- Coordinate artwork development projects and finalize production work
- Ensure that designs conform to the approved specifications and reflect current design trends
- Build InDesign pages and then export, apply metadata and deliver product covers and art images to databases according to approved standards, taxonomy and specifications.
- Respond to internal and external customer needs
- Monitor and maintain production dates and budgets
- Stay up to date with design skills, technical skills, and design trends
- Live out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
- Bachelor's Degree - Graphic Design, Art, Marketing or equivalent experience
- Related work experience may be considered to fulfill education requirement
- 3 year graphic design experience in publishing, ministry, church staff, or agency environment
- 2 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Acrobat and Illustrator
- Experience doing page and book layout design, strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment, including art direction for both in-house and contract designers
- Member of or attending an evangelical Christian church
- Some travel may be needed
