Production Corp Strategic Communication Support For SMC Production Corps

Overview: The position provides an opportunity to support the Production Corps’ Chief of Staff who reports to the Senior Executive Civilian/Program Executive Officer.Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications:

This role supports the timely integration and delivery of strategic messaging in support of Major Defense System Acquisitions for SMC Production Corps. Successful applicant provides senior and mid-level advice and guidance for all programmatic execution activities. Responsibilities may include building and coordination of short reports and briefings to include analysis of Programmatic and Technical work. This role involves working closely with assigned government and contractor teams that may be augmented based upon the actions in work. The applicant may support discussions and analysis of organizational strategies and initiatives as well as long-term goals and issues to address in deliverables. The applicant may also will organize face-to-face meetings and teleconferences and review technical and programmatic documentation related to assigned taskings.

Work will primarily be conducted at Los Angeles AFB, CA.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering in STEM
• At least 20 years of experience in space or launch programs
• U.S. Citizen with Secret Clearance
• Must be familiar with US Air Force and Space Force Acquisition Reporting on Cost, Schedule, and Performance
• Experience working with Higher Headquarters, other military Services and support agencies, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Congressional engagements
• Must be familiar with Space Systems to include Satellite Vehicles, Command and Control/Terrestrial Communications, and user equipment

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance

Deliverable(s): Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using SMC and/or government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
