As a Production Coordinator Supervisor you will work collaboratively as part of a team to provide supervision, coordination, and training of AIC (adults in custody) agents for various businesses within Eastern Oregon Correctional Facility. The successful candidate will:
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment within the institution, following OCE and DOC rules and policies.
- Provide support and coordination of OCE businesses located at EOCI.
- Analyze manufacturing schedule to plan work assignments for group on basis of priority, worker skills, production methods, processes, material, machines and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to insure the production and quality of products meets specifications
- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing information from Production Management as well as knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and staffing requirements
- Communicate with lead operators, warehouse personnel, managers and other shift supervisors on a regular basis
- Ability to interpret and understand oral and written instructions to effectively communicate with staff and AIC, and be knowledgeable in computers, and computer software as they apply to the business operation and contact center industry.
AIC Worker Management - In accordance with the Oregon Accountability Model (OAM), models a positive work ethic example for AIC workers that includes self-accountability, dependability, taking personal responsibility, safe and healthy work practices, personal and professional hygiene and respectful work environment. Trains AIC workers on required safety topics, reinforces safety practices and enforces AIC’s wearing proper PPE. Ensures AIC workers properly and accurately account for time worked. Prepares written documentation for AIC time corrections. Makes on the spot corrections of AIC worker behavior / interpersonal infractions and work performance errors. Assists with AIC counts, worksite searches / inspections, pat downs, and other security measures as required.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

- Experience with supervision
- Ability to coach, correct, and provide oral/written behavior/performance feedback.
- Security, law enforcement, or correctional experience.
- Ability to multi-task, strong time management/interpersonal skills.
- Experience with 5S and lean six sigma preferred

- Three years of production experience/assembly-line manufacturing experience or customer service preferably in contact centers.
- Pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) criminal background check screening
- Pass pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment
