Production Controller

The role of the Production Controller is to provide support for all cost accounting functions and maintenance of the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive continual improvements in the controls, processes and procedures followed for recording cost accounting transactions to the General Ledger.
• Maintain monthly inventory reconciliations between perpetual records and the General Ledger.
• Prepare and perform cost accounting entries during the month and for month-end.
• Track and analyze manufacturing variances.
• Analyze purchase price variances and the necessary corrections.
• Perform detailed cost comparison on a regular basis.
• Support production operations and participate with the relevant teams.
• Focus on product cost development.

Personal Characteristics:

• Must have large ERP financial systems experience.
• Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, management or related field's.
• Experience may be required or preferred, particularly in a leadership role.
• Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and financial legislation.
