The Digital Commerce Content Specialist is responsible for setting up all products for the Frontgate branded web sites, and organizing this content for an optimal customer experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, organize, and upload new products onto Frontgate.com through Websphere, a content management system
- Set-up process includes adding item-level content (copy and dimensions) for products; adding specifications, manual instructions and other relevant content as needed
- Act as a liaison between merchants, copywriters and designers to make sure all assets for product set up are attained
- Maintain current product pages through content updates
- Edit product content for SEO
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
As the Digital Commerce Content Specialist, you will be detail oriented, and always willing to put in the extra effort to make sure all customer-facing data is accurate and easy-to-digest. You must be flexible in nature and prepared to work on varying projects as our business needs demand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years’ experience in ecommerce, preferably in online merchandising
- A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation to constantly be improving the online experience
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to respond to last minute requests and adapt to changes in business trend
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task while staying organized
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure/meet deadlines
- Previous experience with HTML
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel specifically
- Content management experience preferred but not required
EDUCATION
- Associate’s Degree with superb proficiency in MS Office and Excel required; BA preferred
