Job Description
About the role: Perform a variety of production responsibilities based on business needs, including general and/or apron production responsibilities.What you will do:General Production
  • Performs production duties
  • Re-labels and packages products
  • Boxes product for shipping
  • Assemblies products to create a product
  • Organizes products for storage (skids, shrink wrap, etc.)
  • General maintenance for buildings
  • General Cleanup of buildings
  • Annual Inventory count
  • Review products when packaging for non-conformance
  • Collaborate with Customer Care to manage Incoming customer returns and complaint investigation process and resolution.
Apron Production - prepare materials for sewing or production, operate commercial style sewing machines for multi-layer sewing. Cut vinyl and filler materials using patterns and design specifications. Attach bindings, Velcro and fastener loops using sewing machine.
  • Sewing of X-Ray aprons
  • Tracking of lots for aprons
  • Tags aprons for lot tracking
  • Manages sewing area
  • Manages inventory in sewing area
  • Works to ISO standards
  • Inspection of aprons
  • Packages aprons with necessary paperwork
  • Reworks returns of aprons as needed (via inspection, etc)
  • Inventory count (cycle and annual )
  • Production assembly.
What we are looking for: This position requires an individual with:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of basic math
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills (oral, writing and reading)
  • 0-3 years prior experience in a production, distribution or packaging center
  • Experience with heavy fabric sewing experience preferred
  • DGI (HazMat) training
  • Forklift Operator certification, experience or ability to be trained to safely operate
  • Detail oriented and organized to support internal customer facing processes
  • Sense of urgency for resolving and reconciling customer issues
