Hello, we have many positions we are seeking to fill!

SHIFT Hiring: 2p-10p ,10p-6a & 7:30p-6a

SUMMARY: Operates production equipment and performs tasks associated with production by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned :

  • Adhere to company safety rules and follow all federal and state agencies’ requirements.
  • Understand the ISO-14001 Environmental Policy which requires individuals to comply with Environmental Regulations, Prevention of Pollution, and Continual Improvement.
  • Follow Quality, Technical, Process and Operational Procedures.
  • Must be able to operate mechanical equipment to produce parts
  • Must be able to lift and move parts between work stations (up to 40 pounds)
  • Must be able to visually inspect and identify quality defects on parts to stop and adjust equipment and correct root cause of the problem.
  • Have understanding of product functionality and failure modes affecting the product.
  • Responsible for quality, productivity and continuous improvement of assigned equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area, as well as clean equipment all the time.
  • Train new manufacturing associates in proper operation of the equipment and product.
  • Responsible for 5s, escalation of any issue affecting the functionality or the safety of the equipment or quality of the product.
  • Assemble Modules.
  • Run leak test on radiators.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with little to no supervision.
  • Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
  • Meet hourly and team goals set by the schedule and Engineering studies.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required.
  • Perform related duties as needed by supervision.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or WorkKeys (Reading for information, Applied Mathematics, Locating Information).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and product in assigned area.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to read and interpret metal rule.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must regularly wear Personal Protective Equipment. The employee is frequently required to understand and comply with work directions and discriminate amongst various potential safety hazards. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds by conducting a 2-man lift or using a lift assist device. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual may encounter when working in a manufacturing setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving equipment.

The employee is frequently required to understand and comply with work directions and identify various potential safety or environmental hazards.

All individuals are required to wear approved safety glasses, with side shields, and steel or composite-toe safety shoes. Additional personal protective equipment is required in some work areas such as hearing protection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.75 - $17.00 per hour
