Job Description

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Production Assistant. We are a growing remodeling business and have a great opportunity to join our team. KTU Mainline is a award-winning franchise location and is the top revenue production franchise in the country. We have experienced rapid growth during our 4+ years in business. The Production Assistant will work with the Project Manager and assumes all duties that result after the salesperson has made the sale. They coordinate all facets from purchasing through installation to ensure the job goes smoothly and error-free.

Description: Assist in the scheduling and management of project-related materials and activities. Work to include both administrative and physical labor to manage product inventory and order tracking. Main responsibilities include:

Project Management:

  • Assist project manager in the field measuring and ordering all project materials including third party services (Tile, Countertops, Flooring, etc)
  • Weekly order tracking and reporting
  • Punch list ordering and management
  • Assist in the creation of marketing packets, project folders, and end of job process folders

Inventory Management

  • Unload pallets of materials as they come in.
  • Do the full inventory, checking for damage and correct size and quantities
  • Manage the inventory room for cleanliness and organization of job-related materials
  • Damage and/or missing items need to be reported to the vendors right away with pictures and original order information
  • Manage and track the replacement orders and receiving
  • Assist the production team with pick-up and delivery of needed items from HD, inventory, and vendors.
  • Label all items using the cabinet map, hardware, trash cans, lazy Susan’s, etc.
  • Make sure the name for new jobs are on the shelf and proper papers on the clipboard
  • All project and delivery related trash is to be broken down and placed in the dumpster which is emptied twice a week.
