You will be support and lead the Danaher Global Product Security initiatives across Danaher’s portfolio of over 27+ operating companies! Work directly with operating company R&D teams, product management, marketing, sales, quality and regulatory and legal personnel to ensure that Danaher Global Product Security policies, procedures and standard methodologies are fully integrated within operating company products and services!
Provide technical and architecture design guidance to operating company R&D teams. You are highly competent in all areas of information systems security, including network, application, database, physical, Web vulnerabilities and common security design flaws. Work in dynamic, fast paced global environments that require leadership, team interaction and coordination of efforts.
We are open to remote work from any continental U.S based major city with access to an international airport.
Responsibilities
Serve as a technical team member on the Danaher Global Product Security team
Develop privacy & security solutions into a competitive advantage for Danaher, enabling new business opportunities impacting the long-term position of the company
Serve as an authority in the areas of architecture review, incident response process, runtime and Web-based applications, security forensics and development standards & guidelines
Assist R&D teams with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on operating company products
Achieve product security objectives by contributing security and architectural information to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits
Support patching and release management
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product security or information security in a large global organization
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or a related field or equivalent
Industry recognized security certifications such as CISSP, HCISPP, CSM, CISA, GIAC or CEH
Solid understanding of Cybersecurity with software/application or product development
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Experience with penetration testing, SAST and DAST
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in computer science, information security or a related field or equivalent
Direct experience with NIST, HIPAA, FDA, PCI, or other security and privacy governance
Excellent knowledge of Information Security standards, frameworks and standard methodologies for product security
Industry experience in a regulatory environment
