Product Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Product Manager for an award-winning software company in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Product Manager has the ability to work a hybrid or remote schedule, but will need to reside in the state of North Carolina. An ideal candidate for the Product Manager would be a high energy, strategic and fast paced worker that is dedicated to coaching teammates, problem-solving and enhancing productivity.

Responsibilities for the Product Manager:

• Develop and enhance products by aligning business and technical needs; analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy and manage risks
• Develop detailed, technical business requirements and user stories
• Lead discovery process by better understanding the customer needs, pain points and growth opportunities
• Provide market context and business to the development team and prioritize their backlog
• Obtain and implement client feedback
• Create detailed requirements and acceptance data
• Plan development milestones with Scrum team to ensure business outcomes align and are achieved

Requirements for the Product Manager:

• Must reside or be willing to relocate to North Carolina
• 2+ years of SaaS product management experience
• Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product direction, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch
• Experience with agile development process, UX and customer discovery
• Experience working closely with the software engineering team
• Strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to run effective and efficient meeting with all levels of the organization

Compensation of the Product Manager:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 plus generous health benefits program, 401k match, PTO and paternal leave
