Your Responsibilities
The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group is looking for a Product Manager to lead the definition and delivery of the Operator Experience for In-Cab Display Software and Hardware. This role is a unique opportunity to help dealers and in-cab operators perform their work better through display interfaces that are industry leading in software and hardware technology. You will deeply understand the needs of customers, define and prioritize the display product roadmap, and will be ultimately responsible for the success for your product. Leverage powerful on-machine software and hardware combined with cloud-based information to provide machine operators the most current information that helps them run better- Define and communicate a vision, strategy and roadmap that solves customer pain points and creates long lasting value
- Work directly with customers and internal teams to deeply understand customer needs and market opportunities for the in-cab operator experience with precision ag and construction displays and interfaces
- Translate customer needs into a product experience with specific product requirements and features; you will make the product come to life through written and verbal communication with capable engineering teams to build a great operator experience
- Use your agricultural and/or construction domain experiences, business judgement and technical knowledge to inform an understanding of what is technically possible and strategically important to the business

5 or more years of experience in Precision Ag software development- 3 or more years of experience in a software Architecture, Engineering or Product Management role
- Experience working with Precision Ag or Construction Displays in machine and customer operations
- A passion for agriculture and construction technology and its potential to enhance lives of owners and operators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative to build strong and productive relationships
- Experience working with agricultural or construction customers and engineers with proven ability to rally a team to build great products
Experience working directly with Precision Ag displays used for production agriculture or experience working directly with precision construction and grading displays for worksites and road building- Experience and/or deep understanding of the sale and deployment of software products
- Experience with software product development processes
- Experience with software deployment to displays, controllers or vehicles
- Experience with display hardware technology for processing, control and graphical user interface
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
