The Product Management Associate Director for the Region North America marketing organization will drive the best digital experience for our providers using the physician platform. Responsibilities include leading the product vision, strategy, roadmap and execution that enables the adoption and engagement of the platform, increasing satisfaction and loyalty, portfolio expansion, and growing revenue for our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portal Management
- Ownership of the Merz Aesthetics Portal (physician/provider portal), including eCommerce within the Merz Aesthetics Portal, delivering a best in class user experience for providers
- Translate brand strategic priorities into features and functionality that support brand initiates and goals.
- Participate in routine requirements gathering sessions to align on requirements of customers both internal (field) and external (providers).
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that is aligned with agreed upon goals that go beyond feature delivery; and reflect how it will aid the business goals and what impact the product will have on it.
- Define user personas for the Merz Aesthetics Portal.
- Establish a metrics and data driven culture within product management that measures business value and not just feature delivery.
- Research and synthesize market and trends along with a competitive analysis that feeds the product strategy & roadmaps.
- Ensure consistent experience across all brands.
- Manage QA processes and determine appropriate testing opportunities.
- Report on usage analytics, including eCommerce.
- Collaborate with global digital marketing and launch enhancements in North America.
- Regularly engage with global teams to stay current on strategic plans.
- Train colleagues on best practices for general use and support
User Experience (UX)
- Connect UX best practices and production execution.
- Effectively communicate with customers, sales, marketing, development, and senior management as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Support Digital Platform Integrations and Updates
- Provide guidance to brand leads on new platforms or initiatives that require an integration with a globally managed platforms and information technology systems.
- Technical planning and requirements, systems strategy.
- Determine when to buy, build or partner for new initiatives or enhancements.
- Coordinate with global digital marketing, as needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Work cross-functionally across the organization and global, to ensure all portfolio initiatives are integrated and aligned.
- Establish mutual trust across organization and global.
Vendor Management
- Lead the relationship with outside vendors and agencies to ensure alignment and execution of deliverables.
- Evaluate existing and new vendors.
Resource & Tools Development Support
- Partner with US marketing team to effectively communicate the value proposition and messaging for the product suite, case studies, sales tools, and collateral.
Act as the liaison between Merz North America and global digital marketing
- Align with global digital marketing on all platform updates that impact North America.
- Determine which platform features, enhancements and updates will be implemented in North America.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Analytics with a focus on technology.
- Demonstrated experience leading product launches.
- Strong understanding and passion for user experience design.
- Ability to write clear product requirements, document the workflows, business rules.
- Ability to create strategic product roadmaps.
- Experience in building and implementing technology solutions and/or applications.
- 2+ years Google Analytics experience.
- A desire to collaborate, negotiate and influence, effectively in a team and cross-functional environment.
- Analytical capabilities including the ability to interpret data, extract insights and present it in simple terms.
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Experience in problem solving and managing complexity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with both internal teams as well as external customers.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications
Education
Required
Bachelor of Arts or better.
Experience
Required
3 years: 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Analytics with a focus on technology.
7 years: 7+ years of product management experience.
