Job Description
Overview: LMI is seeking a skilled Product Analyst to support work with the Department of Health and Human Services

We believe government can make a difference, and we seek talented, hardworking people who share that conviction.Responsibilities: The successful applicant will become part of an Agile team that supports public health systems management projects with a primary focus on risk adjustment and plan payment systems. He/She will work closely with the Product Owner and program leads to develop requirements and user stories and oversee quality assurance activities (SOP, QA processes, metrics, reporting) for large scale health care systems.

Each day may require the candidate to:
  • Develop requirements through user stories, documentation and process flow design
  • Facilitate JAD sessions
  • Conduct user acceptance testing
  • Perform analyses to answer routine and ad hoc questions about health systems, population health and regulatory compliance and be able to explain the significance of those analyses to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Analyze data to find anomalies, issues and quality concerns.
  • Create custom dashboards, reports and analysis on data.
    • Learn and apply relevant federal policy and regulations to systems development tasks;
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures; and
  • Communicate with systems development experts to design tools and applications to automate the fulfillment of repeat requests;
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s and 5 years relevant experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) skills required. Applicant may be required to perform demonstration of Excel or analytical skills.
  • 1-3 years experience in federal consulting.
  • 5 years experience using Agile in developing or maintaining large data system as a product or business analyst
  • 1-3 years experience data analysis, including presenting data findings.
  • Superior communication and writing skills on technical subjects.
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of new technical and policy knowledge without a lot of guidance.
  • Strong interest in health policy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding products and service that meet or exceed our client’s expectations.
  • Ability to multi-task between complex projects during seasonal peak periods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree or 7 years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with CMS Medicare Enrollment Process System Program Increment Planning methodology.
  • 3-5 years experience data analysis, including presenting data findings.
  • 7 years experience using Agile in developing or maintaining large data system
  • Experience communicating business requirements to system development experts.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage/Risk Adjustment, and Medicare Data.
  • Willingness to work in, or occasionally travel to Baltimore MD area for project and client meetings.
