Produce Clerk

Small, independent grocer is looking for a full time Produce Clerk.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Customer Service
• Knowledge of various types of produce including preparation
• Ensure store guidelines are met for sanitation, rotating produce, trimming, quality, freshness, food storage, pricing and merchandising
• Assist with deliveries of produce including verifying invoice accuracy, breakdown of delivery, rotating stock and food storage

Candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have excellent communication skills- written and verbal
• have ability to work independently or as part of the team
• be able to lift over 50 lbs
• stand for extended periods of time
• have ability to work in temperature controlled room
• be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
