Procurement Manager

Essential Functions:

• Manage 2 procurement specialists and a procurement coordinator
• Buy commodities - Packaging (bottles, corrugated, labels), sugar, oil, soy, vegetables, tomato paste, powders, flavorings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, economics, or related field
• 5+ years significant, direct, and practical procurement, supply chain, or commodity purchasing leadership experience in food/beverage or consumer products manufacturing industry required
• Experience working with commodity trading and solid knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices required
• Experience working with and implementing LEAN manufacturing principles, highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of S&OP, demand and supply management, planning processes, manufacturing and supply chain issues and KPIs required
• Identify, negotiate and manage local and international procurement
• Write business emails, write reports, Spanish a plus
• Present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Computer Skills:

• Strong Excel and Power Point skills
• Learn our ERP and Inventory software

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
