Procurement Analyst

Your responsibilities

• Your portfolio will be primarily focused on aerospace and industrial type components.

• Lead sourcing actives and negotiations for medium / high value critical Purchasing activity to optimise cost opportunities and contract coverage

• To develop and deploy tailored supply chain strategies for the business unit driving long-term improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery performance

• Support internal Procurement transformational programs

• Co-ordinate and interface with global Supply Chain Management counterparts, Global senior stakeholders and other Procurement organizations with in.

• Undertake major contractual and price negotiations with exiting key suppliers

• Develop and foster mutually beneficial relationships with new suppliers, including risk-sharing partnerships where applicable enabling access to supplier technology and expertise

• Make sourcing recommendations at BU and Siemens Energy Global Sourcing Board levels

• Report on plans, activities and results to direct and functional managers

• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement

• Assess Supplier and portfolio risks and align the strategic objectives to mitigate the business exposure

• Foster usage of eProcurement tools with the vision to grow standard catalogue coverage for major equipment

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
