Junior Processor Status: FT, Hourly/Non-Exempt
Reports to: Processing Manager
Location: Corporate/Remote Position Summary : The Junior Processor position may handle customer information and therefore, is responsible for identifying the type of information, understanding the security risks in handling this information. The tasks, and duties of the Junior Processor may differ from those outlined in this job description and other duties, as assigned, might be part of the job. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting the Processor(s) with ordering all the 3rd party documentation such as title, HOA, VOE, condo certs and master policies, appraisals and other documentation requests.
- Reviewing aforementioned documents to ensure accuracy for loan approval.
- Following up to be sure they come in a timely fashion o Assisting Processor with follow-up requested o Following up with phone calls o Follow Silverton’s Safeguard Governance Policy to protect customer non-public personal information. o Adhere to Silverton’s code of zero tolerance for fraud and 100% compliance with all rules, laws and regulations and the procedures to maintain compliance. o Perform other job-related duties as instructed by Manager.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the mortgage industry.
- Knowledge of Mortgage Loan documents and Title work experience a plus
- Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency, responsiveness and follow through.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Internet Explorer; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
