Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in the Healthcare Advance Design Center (ADC). This position will support the Healthcare ADC, a key initiative to accelerate growth with better customer engagement, speed to market, and first-run quality.

As a Process Engineer, you will work collaboratively with Product Designers and other engineering areas to help develop new processes for new product introductions. You will perform many engineering activities; including effectively using cutting-edge technologies that will deliver new products to the market in record time, increasing manufacturability, aligning with automation/digital strategies, and that exceeds our customer expectations.

Location: This role is located at our Healthcare ADC in Eagan, MN, and is primarily an on-site role (excluding required travel).

What You Will Do:

  • Apply engineering skills and experience to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by planning and executing engineering projects while meeting project cost and schedule objectives

  • Support efforts to identify areas within the operations function where safety, quality, delivery, and cost may be improved

  • Support feasibility studies, determine manpower and cost estimates, and Develop engineering criteria to plan projects and drive projects from approval and execution to recognize objectives

  • Work with others to ensure projects conform to local, regional, national, and corporate safety, environmental, and other applicable standards

  • Support technical efforts to develop and integrate manufacturing processes for new and significantly revised products

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, & Automation)

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing and technology environment

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and process development environment in the medical device industry

  • World Class Manufacturing and TPM experience

  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 & ISO 9001
